The real estate industry is a stressful way to make a living, especailly when it comes to the tedious, always challenging, and generally frustrating process that accompanies the successful acquisition of land for medium sized residential communities.

But, over the course of time, it gives you considerable insight into the Realtor and other professionals you work with. Specifically, how they work under pressure, and whether or not they can maintain their focus, professionalism, and sense of humor, while making every attempt to accomodate the needs of their clients.

So, for me, writing this letter on behalf of Laura Higgins of Re/Max Realty Plus is a very easy task.

Laura has been the Realtor of Green Avon Park's initial two (2 land acquistions in Highlands County, Florida. Her awareness of land and product availability, pricing, and viability, combined with her significant involvement in community affairs, both professionally and personally, have helped Laura achieve considerable success and standing in the Highlands County Real Estate arena.

Laura is strong in her opinions and does scrupulous research to ensure that she makes fully informed recommendations to her clients. Laura's only concern is doing the job well, amd making sure that every option and detail on behalf of her client is considered.

We met Laura Higgins as “walk-ins” to her office on a Saturday afternoon a year ago. With our being unfamiliar with the Lake Placid market and living on the west coast Laura took the extra time necessary to analyze our needs.
